About Us
No Waiting Dating, Inc. was started in 2004 by Karalee Austin, a dynamic entrepreneur who realized there was a need for speed dating events for ages 40+ living in the Valley. Ms. Austin was a film, TV and theatre actor for 12 years, but put that passion on hold to pursue No Waiting Dating.
She owned and operated Condron Executive Services, a successful secretarial company that for eight years catered to the specialized needs of attorneys and physicians in San Diego and Coronado, where the headquarters of the company was located. She also served as an executive assistant in the Los Angeles corporate headquarters for the House of Blues.
Ms. Austin, in her earlier years, flew with Continental Airlines and was based in Los Angeles working as an airline hostess. She was contracted to serve as the company model/spokesperson appearing in newspaper ads, annual reports and on promotional brochures.
Rounding out her experience, Ms. Austin worked as an on-air personality at many radio stations over a 14 year span, as well as a TV anchor/host. She was the first woman broadcaster in the State of Alaska and was often referred to as the 'First Lady of Rock and Roll.' She landed prime-time slots at a time when women were struggling to break into radio, and consequently received many offers from prestigious radio stations anxious to add a highly acclaimed female to their staff.  Hills in September 2004. It was marketed as an ''upscale'' event and drew in sixteen single men and sixteen single women. The beautiful room in which it was held became alive with an alluring energy of the singles meeting each other with an expectation of dating.
No Waiting Dating, Inc. expanded its ages of participants from 25 to 70. No Waiting Dating is the ONLY speed dating company in the area to hold events for ages up to 70! Speed dating has been expanded to the following areas of Westlake Village, West Hills, Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Encino, Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Valencia, Burbank, Pasadena, Los Feliz, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and Marina Del Rey.
No Waiting Dating, Inc. became incorporated in October 2005 and expanded its roster of singles services to include Upscale Speed Dating, Custom Matchmaking, Wingman/Wingwoman, Seminars, Dances, Wine Tasting Events, Singles Cruises and Products.
Ms. Austin has been featured on EXTRA TV representing No Waiting Dating as one of Los Angeles' top matchmakers on ''America's Most Eligible,'' NBC TV's EXTRA ''Dating in L.A.,'' Time Warner Cable Channel #34 ''Mind Over Matter,'' Fox TV ''Tyra Banks'' and was responsible for casting and placing most of the single men and women for a RLC's reality TV show, ''Another Chance at Romance.'' Ms. Austin was also a special guest on KTLA's Morning Valentine Cruise Show in 2008 and currently is the host of No Waiting Dating's TV show, ''Attraction,'' airing monthly on Time Warner Cable Channels.
Ms. Austin is a public speaker and has spoken as a dating expert at many organizations and events around the City such as: The Stephen S. Wise Temple, Conversations at Leon's, Calabasas Inn & Suites, Sportsmen's Lodge, various women's groups and private parties. She has also appeared as a guest on KNX 107 Jeff Levy Talk Show, 1590 AM Maria Sanchez Radio Show and Carol Allen Internet Radio Show. No Waiting Dating has been featured on the KRLA Radio Morning Show as well as in many newspaper and magazine articles. |
